Since the establishment of the Social Enterprise Society, in 2012, as a knowledge and meeting platform and community for end customers/users, Microsoft partners and resellers around Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business with the goal to communicate smarter, the demand for independent consultants has been increasing.
MobilityWorks in partnership with the Social Enterprise Society has started a new initiative called “Consultancy Chapter” in order to support the increasing demand for independent consultants. Research and experience has shown that particularly small consultants have a broader overview and experience and know this complex market inside out.
The activities of the Consultancy Chapter are always focused on the end users and their organizations for the new communication tools. They act on the junction between Microsoft partners, resellers and end users. “Together we are stronger, certainly within the community.”
Some examples for the use of the Consultancy Chapter are:
- System Integrators or resellers who (temporarily) have not enough resources in-house to provide the end customers sufficient and adequate advice and / or assistance in the implementation and process optimization
- An end user who is not yet familiar with the wide range of Lync/Skype for Business solution suppliers and often also needs support for both the traditional telecommunications and new IT world
- End Customers who see a need for a thorough assessment of their communication and collaboration needs to ultimately being well prepared for their Universal Communications issues and associated policies
More and more end customers do need a good business case, support for a roll-out, process optimization and cost reduction across departmental boundaries, user adoption programs or a wider and mostly independent view of the Universal Communications market and all developments around this.
